Coming together

Today I had a meeting at Northwest and it went really well.  We talked about what we want to see happen in our youth and what we see happening in the next couple of months.  Then we went over the calendar and I got a leadership evaluation that I have to complete by Wednesday!  So everything there is coming together nicely.  Praise God!  Today I also enrolled at OSU-OKC.  It was cool except that I told the guy I only wanted part time and now I’m taking 12 hours, but whatever its cool I need to do that so I can graduate sometime in the next 5 years.  The only complaint I have about the school is that the people who work there are very impersonal.  They seemed like they were having a terrible day and didn’t want to be there.  The campus is really pretty once you get in it.  From the highway its kinda trashy looking but once you’re on it you find a lot of trees and plants and nice walkways, not a bad place.

I’m almost finished with the video projects that I’m currently working on!  It’s been like two weeks on one and three on the other.  Granted I didn’t work on them for hours at a time but they are finished and before the due date so that is good!  God is working and moving in many of my friends lives!  It’s exciting to see and hear about what people are struggling with and how they want to move past it.  Be blessed this week and remember that we have victory over everything!

New Home

Well I must start out by saying thanks.  Thanks to all of your prayers!!  I, as of July 30th, will be living in Yukon Oklahoma.  I am going to be working with Josh Kitchen and the Northwest Baptist Youth!  I met with Josh today and talked about life and possibilities for future ministry.  He even brought up doing some video stuff for the youth which would be amazing since I love doing that!  I also might be leading a small group or a class.  More to come on that later.  God truly has been at work in my life.  I have been changed and totally revitalized for Him.  Now I feel that I must pour out into other students and adults what is being poured into me.

The upcoming week will be a very busy one for me.  Tuesday I have to be in Weatherford at 8 a.m. for work.  News channel 5 will be broadcasting from our town and the Fine Arts Crew has been asked to set some stuff up for them.  On Wednesday me and a few other guys will be headed back to OKC to lead worship at Northwest.  I’m not sure what Thursday, Friday, and Saturday have in-store but I do have two video projects on the table that desperately need my attention.

Moving

As of the end of July I will be moving back to Yukon.  I am following God on this one.  I recently have felt Him calling me to help out with the youth in our church.  I will be taking a few classes at OSU-OKC.  A few good things already are coming of this.  One, as soon as I get a job out there I get to buy a car!  Which, as most of you know, I have not had one for about a year thanks to an engine blowing up!  Another good thing is I am most likely going to get the chance to pour into other guys my life and my experiences.  Please be praying for me as I do this for I will have to live with my parents again and adjust to their rules and things of that nature.  Thank you for your continued prayers.  God is moving, don’t let it pass you by!!

VERSA!

ok so good news for all!!  Versa officially will be playing at the Coffee Cup in Weatherford Oklahoma on July 29th at around 7:00 pm.  Show if free of charge so bring everyone you know and be there!!

Prayer

Ok guys, I need your prayers!  I’ve got some decisions to make here in the next month that affects a great deal of things.  I need prayer that I will be sensitive to what God tells me and what calling He has given me.  So if you would just keep me in your prayers.  Thanks!!  More to come later

Dirty Little Secret

I just finished reading “Dirty Little Secret” by Craig Gross, the founder of xxchurch.com.  What an amazing book!  It really opened my eyes and heart to what porn stars and their loved ones go through.  If you haven’t heard of it you should check it out and if you haven’t read it, READ IT!!!  Thanks Clint for letting me borrow it!  Be blessed

Back From Camp

I’m back from camp now and i’m worn out!!  It was an awesome week of God moving, people getting saved, great food, goin to bed at 2 and getting up at 7, and great worship.  I had a great time playing bass in the band in the mornings and then doing sound for Cody Dunbar in the evening.  God really moved in our youth.  We had 20 decisions to trust Christ as their savior, and on Friday we baptised 18 kids in the pond at Falls Creek!!  Praise God for the new names written in the Book of Life!!  Be blessed
